Canada chooses TRAC Thrusters

The Government of Canada has awarded a $194 million contract for nine new mid-shore patrol vessels for the Canadian Coast Guard. All of the new vessels will be built in Canada by Irving Shipbuilding Inc., of Halifax, Nova Scotia with 24" TRAC Thrusters. ABT-TRAC bow and stern Thrusters deliver more thrust per horsepower than any other thrusters available. TRAC's twin counter-rotating propellers are more efficient and can reach higher horsepower than single prop thrusters. .
