Trinity Yachts, LLC announces a new construction contract
Trinity Yachts, LLC announces a new construction contract for a high speed, 120’ x 26’ (36.6m x 7.9m) raised pilothouse motoryacht for an experienced American yachtsman. As with every Trinity, this newest yacht will feature the kind of exquisite custom design and engineering that meets with the owner’s specific requirements. More, a patriot at heart, the owner is hopeful that the design and performance of this yacht will inspire other American yachtsmen to step forward and place orders now so that manufacturing jobs can be kept in the United States during these difficult times for the yachting industry.
This newest Trinity will have sleek, contemporary exterior styling and will be classed by ABS with a top speed of 24 knots; her range will exceed 2,500 miles at 10 knots. ABT engineers working closely with Trinity designers selected 440 TRAC Digital Stabilizers with 20X fins, 20" TRAC 100 hp bow thruster, and Integrated ABT Quiet Power Hydraulic Power Pack for Stabilization at Rest (STAR). ABT-TRAC continues a long standing relationship with Trinity Yachts and helping meet their high standards and quality workmanship with this current project.
The New Ocean Alexander Megayacht Series
ABT-TRAC Stabilizers, Thrusters and Integrated Hydraulics will be part of the new Ocean Alexander Megayacht Series. The alliance with Christensen Shipyards and internationally acclaimed yacht designer Evan K. Marshall, Ocean Alexander is producing a new series of mega yachts.
Construction for the first in the series, the Ocean Alexander 120, has begun at Christensen Shipyards and is estimated to be complete in the latter part of 2011. She will be the first in a series of tri-deck motoryachts sized at 120’, 135’ and 155’, all built to MCA class.
