This year Arcturus Marine ramped up its presence at the Miami boat shows held February 14th through February 18th. Besides being our 18th year showing at the Miami International Boat Show, Arcturus Marine showed the TRAC line of products for the first time at the fast growing Yacht and Brokerage show at the Collins avenue marina in Miami Beach. Overall attendance to both shows was lighter than last year.
The general sense from our sales team was positive. “having easy access to builders in off or slow hours provided perfect opportunities to build relationships and catch up on industry news, plus the customers that showed up were pretty serious or had projects they were working on” said John Champion, Arcturus Marine’s Sales Manager. TRAC Stabilizers, TRAC Star, and TRAC Integrated Hydraulics continue to show growing strength in the market.
On the 15th of February Arcturus Marine hosted a reception at the Yacht and Brokerage Show for Clients, the yachting industry media, and interested prospects. The event went exceptionally well, from the tasteful displays of foods, the rich assortment of refreshments, to the high caliber of attendees. We were happy to see a strong representation by the media and having the opportunity to speak directly to them. We were delighted to have the surprise visit from the partners of Feadship, the highly acclaimed Dutch builder. We were equally pleased that a good number of our industry partners had a chance to join us that evening, including Northern Marine, Presidential Yachts, Lazzara, Hatteras, and Seaforce 9. Arcturus Marine continues its strong commitment to present TRAC products all over the world. This spring will see TRAC having a strong first time presence at the China International Boat Show in Shanghai thanks to our good partner Asia Diesel. We will also be extending our presence in such prestigious events as the Monaco Yacht Show and of course Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
